Watch: Nick Cave — “Love Letter”

My good friend and incredible musician, Blake Mills (who you will be seeing a Cover Me from soon), showed me this today. I was blown away. I’m a moderate Nick Cave fan, but this video is so creative and inspiring in its minimalism. With every shot locked off on a tripod, it feels like you’re just watching a sequence of photographs (albeit amazingly composed photographs), but it’s so much more. Blake said he thought it was directed by one of my favorites, Wim Wenders, but that will go unconfirmed as I can’t find any more information on it. I won’t ruin the experience much more than I already have, but it’s a must watch, and you can see it after the jump.
