The Arcade Fire & Grizzly Bear crash Super Bowl XLIV

posted by jordan | Feb 8, 2010

Arcade Fire Superbowl

Last night millions of people were treated to some spectacular Super Bowl commercials. Even more interesting was that a few of the most popular Super Bowl ads featured music from The Arcade Fire and Grizzly Bear. Check out the spots after the jump!

The Arcade Fire cashed in some serious checks last night as their inspirational song "Wake Up" was chosen as the background of the official NFL.COM. This was a really incredible spot. Additionally, The Arcade Fire reportedly donated all of their earnings towards Haiti's relief campaign.

Followed by none-other than Grizzly Bear, stepping in for Volkswagen's newest Slugbug campaign with "Two Weeks". I love seeing a brand take progressive steps to re-invent a cultural phenomenon. Plus Tracy Morgan & Stevie Wonder had a little cameo.
