The Morning Benders @ The Troubador

Last night, The Morning Benders played their first sold-out headlining show at the Troubador in Los Angeles. They are deep homies, so it was a really special night getting to see them play to so many excited fans.

They played their entire new album, Big Echo, front to back, and it couldn’t have been better received. They even played their first encore of the entire tour (a Neil Young tune), going against their self-proclaimed ‘anti-encore’ philosophy. There were a lot of people there taking pictures of the show itself, and while I felt a responsibility to at least capture some of that, I figured I’d try to take more pictures of other stuff instead. See some of what I saw in the gallery below and in the blog after the jump.
