La Blogotheque // Beach House

I really just couldn’t resist posting this. While in Paris, Beach House and some fans holed up in an apartment. La Blogotheque was there to capture it, and the result is utterly breathtaking. It all looks and sounds so incredible, and hearing Victoria speak French, I love her more than I ever did before. Watch, listen, and enjoy.

Defgrip // Bicycle Film Festival 10

Our homies at Defgrip have teamed up with The Bicycle Film Festival to act as host for the BMX films for the 2010 Bicycle Film Festival!

Each year, The Bicycle Film Festival curates an outstanding selection of bicycle related movies from around the world, and in recent years, we’ve seen a more articulated taste in BMX films come to fruition. Defgrip has stepped on-board to make sure that trend continues.

We are looking for short films under 10 minutes that are innovative, creative and tell a story.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBISSIONS IS March 27, 2010

There is only a small window to submit your films so get on it!

Vincent Alvarez for Lakai

You know Lakai has their video game on lock down. Their latest masterpiece stars Vincent Alvarez which was originally slated as a short promo and quickly morphed into a mini-part of sorts.

Directed by none other than by Federico Vitetta and shot by Drew Lauer, this Lakai spot features some of the most impeccable skate footage you’ll ever see. Backed by an Atlas Sound track, you know Lakai did this up one up right. Are you just playing around with your new DSLR and shooting video? Pay attention, because this is how you shoot.
