Today, 2 of boxings living legends battle to engrave themselves in immortality. Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley will go head to head and let their hands do the talking. Along with the giant spectacle of these modern day gladiators, HBO produces an absolutely brilliant documentary series following the prize fighters titled 24/7.

24/7 is the perfect hybrid of a nature and a sports documentary– exciting, emotional, and filled with wisdom from the rich heritage of boxing. From the cinematography to the editing, down to the music (you can catch epic tracks from The xx and Gangstar), you will be swept away in the story behind these 2 premier fighters.

Today the world got their first taste of the lead track from their debut album Treats and it is a straight up banger. I’m going to make it easy for you. Press play and turn your little laptop speakers all the way up, because that’s how it’s supposed to sound.

I’ve been seeing some dope Penfield spring jackets around LA lately, so I went to go peruse the collection on their site. Indeed they had quite a grouping of very nice outerwear, but fortunately I stumbled over their bag selection. Not only is this stuff super well-designed, but it’s utilitarian and affordable. Once again, THIS, comes through with a show in Los Angeles that is not to be missed. Their latest, Transplants takes “10 renowned and award winning photographers, living and working in Los Angeles but born and raised elsewhere.. “.

At first I thought the idea behind Transplants was a kind of funny because practically everyone is a Los Angeles transplant, but then I realized it’s the perfect excuse to show a load of amazingly talented photographers.

Matt and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who suggested friends to the Say Mayday Facebook Page. The unbelievably warm feedback and excitement we’ve received from all our new friends has been incredible!! Thank you so much to everyone who is syked enough on Say Mayday to tell their friends, and we hope that you’ll keep that going!

I regret to inform you, however, that we are now out of stock on our first run of shirts, so to everyone who’s getting one: a) prepare to look like a gangster and b) get ready for a lot of girl/boy attention. We will be sending out all the orders this week, so look for yours!

We will be receiving another run of our shirts promptly, and they will be available in the new Say Mayday Store, which will be up soon! We’ve got a lot of dope apparel in the works, so don’t worry if you missed out this time around — there will be plenty more opportunities to come.
